Peaceful Birth Practices offers a 3-4 day DONA International Approved Birth Workshop If you are passionate to take an active role in  birth work become a Doula.  Doulas help prepare and support mothers and their partners to make  informed  decisions and advocate for themselves about their birth experience. 

This intensive workshop addresses communication skills, prepares Doulas with an depth understanding of  labor, cultural awareness, and how Doulas can offering support and  comfort measures to address the laboring mothers specific needs.

Pamela King founder, CEO Peaceful Birth Practices LLC

Over 25 years experience as an RN years in Labor and Delivery. Engaging with the development of  Doula training for 20 years. A Certified Doula and Birth Doula Trainer specializing in Community Based Doulas and programs.

Stephanie James CD(DONA) CLC

 An experienced Community Based Doula having supported over 300 births in underserved  communities . An active leader within Peaceful Birth Practices  and  a leading  experienced Childbirth Educator. Stephanie believes that her work  to expand the community of Doulas will be the catalyst to improve the discrepancies in  healthcare as well as  address the high  maternal and infant mortality rates among communities of color.
